Plan, Do, Check, Act
The New Continuous Improvement

The adoption of our various management systems has been a strategic decision for Collett, a decision which helps us to improve our overall performance and provides us with a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.

The potential benefits to our organization of implementing our various management systems based on these International Standards are:

    • The ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements;
    • Facilitating opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction;
    • Addressing risks and opportunities associated with its context and objectives;
    • The ability to demonstrate conformity to specified management system requirements.

These International Standards employ the process approach, which incorporates the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle and risk-based thinking.  The PDCA cycle enables us to ensure that its processes are adequately resourced and managed and those opportunities for our improvement are determined and acted on.

Risk-based thinking enables us to determine the factors that could cause our processes and our management systems to deviate from the planned results, to put in place preventive controls to minimize negative effects and to make maximum use of opportunities as they arise to us.

Consistently meeting requirements and addressing future needs and expectations poses a challenge for any organization in an increasingly dynamic and complex environment.  To allow us to achieve this objective, we have adopted various forms of improvement in the past and will undertake correction and continual improvement in the future.

By undertaking this in the way we do, we are continually improving the products and services we are offering to our customers, ensuring that we continue to offer the qualitative solutions that our customers know we are renowned for both now and in the future.
