TRANSPORT CLERK – RENEWABLES SECTOR

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Renewables (Wind Energy) team as a Transport Clerk, reporting directly to the Renewables Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop within a dynamic logistics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Field incoming calls and emails from customers, drivers, and sub-contractors.

  • Assisting and dealing with the planning & scheduling of Road transport operations.

  • Assisting on site visits and contribute to route planning for delivery of components.

  • Carry out general office duties as required.

  • Record and report progress and task development accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, drivers, and colleagues.

Qualifications / oFFICE sKILLS

  • Minimum education to O Level standard (Math’s and English essential); A Level or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a logistics or transport environment preferred but not essential.
  • Full clean driving license (preferred but not essential).
  • High level of computer skill and competency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to complete tasks with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Capable of recording and reporting progress of tasks effectively.
  • Good telephone manner with strong communication skills.

Location & Conditions

  • Location: Based at our Renewables department in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Could require attendance when required at site meetings in the UK and sometimes EU basis.

  • Working Hours: Anticipated normal working hours are Monday to Friday 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs. Overtime and weekend working may be required by the demands of the business.

  • Holidays: 28 days per year (including bank holidays), with an option to purchase up to five additional days (Holiday purchase scheme subject to conditions).
