2017 Transport50

International Cranes & Specialized Transport Magazine's Transport50 has been announced, since 2007 Collett have featured on the index and ten years on we're still featuring in the top 50!

Collett Feature in the 2017 Transport50

In 2005 International Cranes & Specialized Transport launched the Transport50, a list of the world's largest heavy and specialised transport equipment-owning companies ranked according to the total carrying capacity of their fleet.  Companies are then ranked in the Transport50 index, calculated by adding together the transport capacity of all modular and specialised trailers in the fleet.

Since 2007 Collett & Sons have been proud to feature on the list, rubbing shoulders with businesses far and wide.  Looking back to 2007 our Transport50 index was 4,406 Tonnes based on our overall carrying capacity.  Ten years on and our combined modular trailer capacity of 5,764 Tonnes and combined specialised trailer capacity of 5,445 Tonnes more than doubles our Transport50 index to 11,209 Tonnes!

As we continue to invest in new technology and new additions to our fleet, our carrying capacity continues to grow and hopefully in another ten years we'll still be a firm feature on the list!
