WAREHOUSING & STORAGE
Collett & Sons provide a comprehensive warehousing and storage service, offering over 55,000 square metres of secure internal and external storage.
With our range of overhead gantry cranes, cargo lift, handling equipment and a large variety of fork lift vehicles we are able to provide a complete warehousing package.
Across our six depots we can accommodate all types of cargo, from heavy lift abnormal loads through to standard pallets.
Container Handling
With our container docking bays, we offer a container de-vanning and stuffing service, along with lashing and securing to flat racks.
Our heavy-lift Goole and Grangemouth facilities feature 110-tonne straddle carriers and can provide out-of-gauge cargo storage, consolidation, and transshipment services. In addition, our Halifax Head Office also operates a calibrated weighbridge facility of up to 60 Tonnes to conform with SOLAS containerisation regulations.
Our warehousing and storage service runs hand in hand with our transport and heavy haulage service, allowing us to coordinate all requirements as a single point of contact.
Halifax
Our two Halifax warehouse facilities consist of our Halifax Head Office and our Mile Thorn Works facility. Together, these depots offer 5,850sqm of securely monitored internal storage.
Equipped with gantry cranes ranging from 10 to 32 tonne capacity, each of these two depots also provide a range of fork lift trucks, with 24 hour CCTV secure access and night-time physical security.
These facilities are available to rent on a square meterage basis, or as build-up or testing areas including crane usage and power.
ELLAND
Our Elland Depot Complex offers a total of 4550sqm internal storage, accommodating all types of goods from heavy lift abnormal cargo through to standard pallets.
The warehousing facilities are equipped with multiple gantry cranes, with capacities ranging from 5 to 32 Tonne, enabling us to handle a wide range of lifting requirements.
All Warehousing Facilities offer drive-in roller shutter doors, insuring ease of entry and exit for out of gauge cargo. Each warehouse facility is available to rent on a square meterage basis, or as build-up or testing areas including crane usage and power.
Bradford
Situated with excellent access to the M62, the west–east trans-Pennine motorway connecting Liverpool and Hull via Manchester, Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield, this 5,600sqm provides long and short-term storage solutions.
This additional 6.5m high facility lies 3 miles south of Bradford city centre and further expands our warehousing and storage facilities. At our Bradford depot, we can accommodate long and short-term storage requirements, with cargo lift and various handling equipment.
Goole & Grangemouth
Our Goole & Grangemouth Depots offer a combined 40,000sqm of external storage and facilitate the handling and storage of complex and overweight cargo. Both depots are equipped with 110Te capacity straddle carriers, 45Te capacity reach stackers and a range of fork lift trucks up to 28Te capacity.
We offer both long-term and short-term storage options. Our Warehousing Team can also provide order picking and stock control utilising our modern warehousing package.
