Sixth-Year Sponsorship with Stan Moody
Collett are delighted to announce the renewal of our sponsorship with professional snooker player Stan Moody, extending our successful partnership into a sixth consecutive year.
Since first supporting Stan in 2021, we have been proud to follow his journey from a talented young player in Halifax to one of snooker’s most exciting young professionals. What began as support for a talented young player has grown into a long-standing partnership, with Collett continuing to support Stan as his career has progressed.
As a business, supporting local talent and recognising individuals who demonstrate hard work and determination has always been important to us. Stan’s continued progression throughout his career has made this partnership incredibly rewarding and we look forward to continuing to support him as he reaches new milestones.
Stan Moody’s Breakthrough 2025/26 Season
The 2025/26 season provided another reason to continue our backing, with Stan enjoying a breakthrough year on the professional circuit. During the campaign, he broke into the world’s top 40, reached the quarter-finals of both the Wuhan Open and British Open and became the first British teenager since Judd Trump in 2007 to qualify for the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible Theatre.
Members of the Collett team were proud to be at the Crucible to witness Stan make his World Championship debut. Facing reigning World Champion Kyren Wilson, Stan delivered a memorable performance, taking a 7-3 lead before narrowly missing out in a match that showcased his ability on snooker’s biggest stage.
The partnership has also continued away from the table. Earlier this year, Stan joined us at a corporate event hosted by Bradford City AFC, where he met customers, employees and guests as part of our wider engagement activities. The event reflected the close relationship that has developed over the past six years, with Stan becoming a familiar face across the Collett team.
