Heavy Lift Team Member

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

We are seeking a professional & hard working Heavy Lift Team Member to join our Heavy Lift Team at our Goole depot. Working as part of the Heavy Transport team, this appointment will report directly to a Heavy Lift Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Acting as a trailer banskman / steersman / attendant for other Abnormal Indivisible Loads (AIL’s) Utilising extendable / steerable trailer equipment.

  • Working as part of a team on the ‘Industrial Services’ part of the business, assisting with jacking / skidding / handling of cargo on various sites and locations.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

 

  • Must hold a full, clean driving license.

  • Being a CCNSG Card Holder would be preferred but not essential.

  • Being a CPCS Forklift / Telehandler Card Holder would be preferred but not essential.

  • Being a CPCS Slinger/signaler would be preferred but not essential.

  • Being a BESC AME Card Holder would be preferred but not essential.

LOCATION & CONDITIONS

 

The role is based at our Goole depot, but flexibility and mobility are required. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility needed to suit business needs. The successful candidate must be available to work away from base at short notice for both long and short periods and adapt to unconventional working patterns as required.

Additionally, weekend work is required to meet business demands. The position includes 28 days of holiday per year, including bank holidays. Company contributions to the pension scheme are offered, subject to conditions. Overnight subsistence costs are covered when away from base. A holiday purchase scheme is also available, subject to conditions.
